Keishia founded Riddim Fitness Inc in April 2014 wanting to bring her love for fitness to community members. Keishia's love for fitness started when she made the decision in 2008 to embark on a journey of self-transformation. Losing 100 pounds, Keishia recognized that to be successful in any weight-loss journey it is of utmost importance to 1) believe in the process and 2) find your tribe of like-minded people who are willing to go on the journey with you.
The Riddim Fitness Wellness Centre serves the community by offering fitness programs, personal training and dance classes for children, youth and adults that also want to live their best lives and take the journey to wellness in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.
Keishia holds a certification in fitness instruction and children's fitness. In addition she holds a bachelor's degree in sociology with a master's degree in public, policy, administration and law from York University.
In 2018 Keishia expanded the services offered by the Riddim Fitness Wellness Centre to include Corporate Wellness Consulting, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Consulting, Policy Development, Community Consultations and Program Evaluation.
Located in Ajax, Ontario the Riddim Fitness Wellness Centre is the home of the Riddim Fit Dance Fitness Program, the Riddim Fit Kids Afro-Caribbean Dance & Education Program and the location of numerous community based fitness and wellness programs.
